"Kiss the Cat" was build in October 2007 for all the cat enthusiasts
amoung the world wide web community. This site is designed for users to upload their personal favourite cat pictures and share them with others. The Start Page The Start page contains, beside the picture with the highest amount of votings, the menu bar at the bottom of the page, the language option (german, english) and a visitor counter under the language option falgs. Menu Ranking In this section of the page lies the top ranking list sorted by the number of votings a picture got at this moment. The number on the left side of each picture indicates the ranking number. The column right next to this number shows the picture. You get a closer and more detailed view when you put your mouse over this thumbnail photo. Right next to the pictures you can read the user's comment which he published with the photo containing the user's name the date on which the entry is uploaded, the email adress in case the user wants to publish it and the picture description. Next to this column you will find the current votings for this photo. You can use the page numbers on top and bottom of this page to navigate through the ranking list. How to upload On top of the "Ranking" and "Vote" pages lies a link called "Upload your picture". By clicking this link you will be directed to the upload section where you can upload your "Kiss the Cat" photo. The filesize of the picture is limited to 1 MB (Mega Byte), only "jpg"s are allowed as picture format but don't worry nearly all of the digital cameras these days store their photos under this format. By clicking "choose" your can search your computer to find the desired picture. Then you have to enter your name, or nickname, your email adress and a comment to the picture you like to upload to our server. By removing the little hook next to the email text field you can decide wether your email adress is shown on the page or not. We advise you, because of security reasons and prevention of spaming attacks, not to show your personal email adress on our page. The "Securitycode" on the bottom of the page must, for security reasons, be typed in correctly in order to send us your entry. By clicking the "upload" button you will send your picture to our server and after verifying your entry you will find your picture on our homepage. Menu Vote This page contains the voting engine. By clicking on the "vote" buttons next to each picture you can vote for this photo. In order to prevent unfair voting each picture can only be voted once from you. Above these buttons you can find the current votings for each entry. The "Search for" menu bar sorts the entries for you. "Today" will list all pictures uploaded in the last 24 hours, "Last Week" the pictures from the last 7 days and "Last month" all photos from the last 31 days. Menu Donate Here you can send us a little donation via paypal. Menu Guestbook In the guestbook area user can send us feedback and greetings. The "Guestbook" page contains all geustbook entries in a small scrollable frame. Right under this frame you can "Sign our Guestbook" by clicking on the link which brings you to... How to singn our guestbook Please fill in your name, your email adress, which will not be shown online and the comment for the guestbook. By entering the "Securitycode", clicking on "send" and after verifying your guestbook entry you can see entry online in the "Guestbook" area. Menu Impressum This section contains all data of the site owner, besides information of the "ABG", a "Disclaimer", the "Copyright" information and this "How to" you can find a link called "E-Mail".
